All checking accounts receive statements monthly with images of your checks and deposits. Your statement will detail all activity in your account. Your other accounts, such as savings, loans and certificates of deposit will also be shown on your combined statement.

Occasionally, you may have expenses that are too large for your checking account to absorb. We recognize this and want to make it easier for you to handle these items by offering overdraft protection.

Kentucky's Best Checking
Age has its privileges and Kentucky's Best is one of them. If you are 50 or better, your account will not have a monthly service fee or minimum deposit requirement. You also receive special advantages.

Kentucky's Preferred Checking
We want you to know we appreciate your business. Your checking account will earn interest with balances of $2,500 and will not have a monthly service fee when you keep total monthly deposits of $15,000 in related accounts* or $2,500 in your Kentucky's Preferred account. A Kentucky Bank credit card with no annual fee is available upon approval.
  • $100 minimum deposit to open account
  • To avoid service fees, maintain a minimum of $2,500 in the Kentucky's Preferred checking account OR $15,000 in total deposit balances
  • $12.50 monthly service fee if minimum monthly balances are not met

Money Market Checking
Our Money Market checking account pays interest and offers you the ability to write up to three checks per month. Deposit balances determine interest rates.

  • $1,000 minimum deposit to open account
  • $1,000 minimum monthly balance to avoid service fees
  • $8 service fee if daily balance is below $1,000
  • Interest is earned on average collected daily balance. Current deposit rates
  • Interest is compounded and paid monthly
  • Interest is earned each day the balance is $1,000 or more

  • Check writing and withdrawal limitations: Regulations permit 6 transfers and withdrawals per statement cycle; up to 3 transactions may be made by check, draft or debit card, the remainder may be pre-authorized (automatic) transfers
